Disgust

I have not posted in awhile. First, no one is reading my blog anyway, so who cares, right? Secondly, I have come to the conclusion that most people are close-minded narcissists. I really am so disgusted with what is going on in the world right now.

The US government is a total sham and most of the people in this country are ignorant and rude. We are destroying the environment with reckless abandon, women and homosexuals and minorities do not have equal rights in this country, the poor and uneducated in this country are f***ked, and yet we feel the need to go out and tell the rest of the world how great we are and invade other countries and place sham democratic governments there that don't give everyone equal rights either. And we wonder why the people there are upset about us being there. Gee...I wonder? And yet we still try to tell the rest of the world what to do like we set any kind of an example for anyone. We are the world bully, but we aren't even a very good one because people can see through the threat now and are standing up to us.

But the rest of the world needs to step up to the plate as well. If everyone got together and said hey, we are going to stop the pollution, stop the spread of disease, end hunger, end poverty and stop fighting with our neighbors just because they have a different religion or are different from us, then we could put an end to all of the nonsense going on right now. The human race is a damn virus on the planet, and it is only a matter of time before Mother Nature kicks us the f**k off. And we would certainly deserve it.

And don't even get me started on organized religion. It is the biggest scam of all. It is an excuse to hate everyone who does not exactly talk and act and think like you and then use "righteousness" to condemn them for being ever so slightly different. Jesus, God, Muhammed, Buddha...whomever you believe in, would be very ashamed of the way religion has been twisted and is used simply as a weapon of hate and oppression. I could go on and on but I am done for the time being. I am just trying to live my life with an open mind and tolerance and compassion and help as many people as I can and do as much for the environment as I can. I wish everyone could step back and realize the pain that we cause by being intolerant, ignorant, narcissistic and holier than thou.
