The UN's top climate expert warned about global warming: "If there's no action before 2012, that's too late. What we do in the next two or three years will determine our future." These are very strong words. They make me want to scream and head for the hills. Not that that would do any good. Instead I am going to scream green.
I am going to keep recycling, keep taking public transportation, keep using cloth rags, towels and napkins, not consume more than I need to and when I do, buying planet friendly products, keep doing everything that I can do. And I am going to tell anyone who will listen about how our planet, our home is in trouble and we need to do something about it NOW. Not tomorrow, not the day after that.
What is the debate? Whether we caused it or not, global warming is a threat to our species and every other species on this planet. We have no time to waste.
